Philadelphia and Tomato Bagel

  • 30 g Philadelphia Original
  • 10 cherry tomatoes, assorted colours
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • cracked black pepper
  • 1-2 sprigs fresh mint leaves, optional
  • 1 New York Bakery Co. wholemeal bagel
  • 1 handful baby leaf salad, to serve
  • 1 tsp olive oil, to serve
  • 0.25 fresh lemon, to serve


  • Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place in a small bowl. Toss with 1 teaspoon of olive oil, season to taste and then set aside until ready to use.
  • Cut the bagel in half and spread both sides with Philadelphia. Next arrange the dressed cherry tomatoes on top, seasoning with black pepper and a small sprinkling of finely chopped mint. Serve immediately with a side of salad, quickly dressed in a teaspoon of olive oil and a squeeze of fresh lemon.


  • This recipe is also tasty with Philadelphia Light.
