Method

Preheat the oven to 190 °C.

Whisk the eggs, milk, pepper, herbs, onions, and garlic and 1/3 of the Philadelphia together in a small bowl.

Place the bread in a large skillet or baking dish and pour the mixture over the bread. Toss lightly until all the bread is coated then top with the vegetables or tomatoes.

Sprinkle the Parmesancheese evenly across the top. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Cover with foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes. (This step prevents the cheese on top from burning).

Remove from the oven and leave to stand for 5 minutes. Serve with a dollop of Philadelphia on top.
